Oil Filter Relocation
I relocated the oil filter just like I did on my old 4Runner. This (along with the Fumoto oil pan valve) makes it so I don't have to remove my skid plates every time I change the oil.
 
It also allows me to run a much larger oil filter. This adds almost an entire extra quart of oil capacity to the motor.
Battery Upgrade
Several excusions into the Mojave desert, along with a recent heat wave, finally killed off my factory battery. I replaced it with an Odyssey PC1700 MJT. The metal jacket provides for a slightly higher operating temperature.
