Summer Solstice, 2013

I decided to head out to Stewart Valley one last time before the summer heat really kicks in.  I brough my mountain bike with me so I could cover more ground and hunt a few different areas.

I hunted the morning with no luck, then re-parked at a different spot and hopped on my bike.  I was able to look for meteorites while riding, and it was this way that I discovered my only meteorite of the day, a 3.6g fragment.

I can't wait to go back when summer is over!
